XXII: Plasma for Two

Here are a couple of Plasma toting Plague Marines I made yesterday from berserker & DA bits... with a bone hand & a leg thrown-in from the skeleton warriors box. No champions in my plasma squads, so I think I have almost everything ('cept for a rhino-tank) I need to put everybody together already.

Still been too chicken to try out my GS, but there's still plenty of time for that.

And here's a better picture of a couple of their squad mates.

  1. I have to applaud your conversions and modeling. I would never have guessed you were so new to the hobby. I thought about consolidating all my comments into one mega-post, but then figured they'd make more sense if on the same post as their context.

For this one, you might try roughing the edges of your bullet holes with your hobby knife. A pin dril makes too even a hole and removes waste as it goes. A bullet hitting rounded armour is rarely going to hit clean and will smash and gouge the impact area rather than just puncture. So you'll end up with more splaying, rough edges and oblique impacts. http://www.explainthatstuff.com/bullets.html has a couple of really good pics of what I mean. Cheers!
