Please pardon the blurriness of this pic. I will get some close-up, detail shots + a turn-around when he's ready for paint.
More disease + decay effects to be added.
(also, needs more Nurglings)
I really wanted to go for a daemon-engine vibe for this guy, not just another plague marine on a bike. Bits are pulled from the Possessed box, the Forge Fiend, Chaos Biker, Land Speeder and Raptor kits.

Nice! I really dig the build so far - looking forward to seeing more! Keep up the great work!
ReplyDeleteThank you, sir!
DeleteMore to come :)
Nice, and an interesting take on the 'Nurgle Biker' theme; how about adding some of those 'wing' thingies from the Raptors/Warp Talons box onto the vanes of his backpack? Attach one to the rearward-facing side of the backpack struts, and angle them slightly upwards so they give a sort of 'aileron' look; I think that would help balance the back of the model with the two lower ventral 'wings'.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Svart!
DeleteI hear what you're saying; I've got some of those mini-wings down by his feet already. For behind the Lord's back though, I have something else planned :)
Nice take on a jetbike. Very tricked out looking.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Dai!
DeleteI figured, if he's gonna be the leader of my army; he needs a sweet ride.
;)
Great job. This is a really cool conversion.
